Last updated: October 27, 2026. This notice describes the current movie catalogue, website analytics, visitor movie requests, comments/reviews and admin sign-in features. It is general information, not legal advice; the site owner should review it against the actual deployment and applicable law.

Information processed

Browsing the public catalogue does not require an account. If you submit a movie request, CINEVERSE processes the movie title and any optional release year, name or details you provide. If you submit a movie comment or review, the site stores your name, review heading, comment text, rating, submission time and moderation status. Public comments are shown only after approval. Please do not include sensitive personal information. When an administrator signs in, Supabase Authentication processes the submitted email and password and maintains the session. The admin dashboard stores movie catalogue fields such as title, year, genre, rating, poster URL, description, trailer URL, cast names and external download links.

Website analytics

CINEVERSE uses first-party, limited analytics to understand public catalogue usage and troubleshoot service issues. Analytics records may include the page path (without query-string parameters), a session identifier stored in your browser session, the referring website's hostname or traffic source, the event type and a time marker. Page views are recorded, and a heartbeat event may be recorded about every 15 seconds while a page is visible. Analytics is not recorded on admin, login, forgot-password or reset-password routes. The analytics code does not itself collect IP addresses or full referring URLs; hosting and service providers may separately process technical information as described below.

How information is used

Information is used to display the catalogue, review visitor movie requests, moderate comments, maintain movie records, understand general page usage, secure the admin area and troubleshoot service issues. Do not enter private or sensitive personal information into movie fields.

Storage and security

Catalogue records, movie requests, submitted reviews/comments and analytics events are stored in Supabase. Public requests are restricted to pending submissions; visitors can submit comments but cannot approve them. Only approved comments are publicly readable, and moderation is restricted to administrators. Analytics records include page paths, session identifiers, traffic-source labels, event types and timestamps. Database policies restrict access to analytics records to authorized administrators and constrain public submissions. Catalogue records are publicly readable; inserts, updates and deletes are restricted to authenticated users whose trusted Supabase app metadata marks them as administrators. Authentication may use browser storage or cookies to maintain a session. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Third-party services and external links

Poster images may be loaded from TMDB, and movie pages can link to third-party trailers or download sources. Supabase, hosting providers and external services may process technical information such as IP addresses when your browser requests their resources. Their own privacy notices and terms apply. CINEVERSE does not control external sites.

Retention and choices

Catalogue data and analytics records are retained while needed to operate and maintain the site. You can choose not to follow external links. Browser session storage used for analytics is generally cleared when that browser tab session ends. For privacy requests, contact the site owner at adany.ali75@gmail.com.
